Our Founder
Justin Macmahan has been widely considered one of the top DFS players and sports bettors for many years. At 18 years old, while attending UNC Chapel Hill, he used some of his scholarship money to start grinding in DFS. After a few big wins, he had turned a small stipend into six figures, and he qualified for the PlayBoy Mansion Championship. He went on to win that, and then founded Daily Fantasy Insider, where he would serve as CEO for 8 years before founding RGP. He’s contended in live finals in NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA, MMA, and CFB, and has helped thousands of people win millions of dollars on DraftKings, FanDuel, UnderDog, PrizePicks, and various sports books.

Community is really important to Justin and the entire RGP team, which is why every member of our community has unlimited access our team via Discord. It’s important to Justin that people are here to have fun in addition to making money. Betting on sports makes the games more exciting, but having a community sweat the games with makes it significantly more fun.

Justin’s mission in launching Really Good Picks is to provide exactly what the modern-day sports bettor wants, without any of the fluff. They want daily betting picks, accurate projections, a concise breakdown of DFS slates with the biggest edges, and a community to discuss picks with. We try to keep our content concise to avoid wasting anyone’s time. No AI slop here.
