This is a repost on a bet we posted earlier in the week but now with better odds! As long as the K-State Wildcats keep playing football at a high level, we will keep taking them to cover. As we expected, Troy just couldn’t hang with them last weekend. Frankly, we don’t think Mizzou can either. The major difference being exactly this: Mizzou is going to struggle to move the ball against this K-State defense. In last week’s game, Mizzou barely escaped the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders. Did you know what their mascot was? Neither did we because we have never written a sentence quite like that about Middle Tennessee. They generated less than 300 yards of total offense. On the flip side, they allowed around 300 yards of total offense to Middle Tennessee and two receiving touchdowns. Could have been an off game but the eye test says K-State is far and away the better team. With an average offensive line grade of 72 on PFF, a solid rushing attack behind a two headed monster at running back and a mobile QB with weapons on the outside? This is a no brainer.
