CFB Night Slate Breakdown 11/18

Top Plays

QBs: Daniels, Cook, Rattler

RBs: Schrader, Baxter, J. Williams

WRs: Nabers, Legette, Singleton, Villari,

At QB we like Jayden Daniels again here. He’s a superstar dual-threat QB in a cupcake matchup. He’s pushing for the Heisman now, so don’t expect a pure ease up game here. He can be used in any lineup.

Spencer Rattler is on our radar tonight as well. He is way too cheap, and is one of the top PT/$ plays at the QB position. Rattler is an excellent value, and we believe he can be used in all formats this evening.

Finally, we have a mid-tier play at QB with Brady Cook. Cook has been excellent this season, tossing for 2,744 and 17 on the year. He has a solid matchup with Florida that can be easily stacked. The Gators have allowed 250+ passing yards in six games this season. Cook is one of the top PT/$ plays on the slate and we love his potential this evening.

At RB we like to start with CJ Baxter. Pulling from the Fanduel writeup, Baxter is just too cheap for his expected workload. He is set to take on a majority of the work for a Texas team that is implied to score four TDs this weekend. He is a top PT/$ option, and oozes upside this evening.

Cody Schrader went nuclear last weekend, and has gotten an insane workload lately. He is the top projected RB on the slate. Schrader seems locked into 20+ carries and 3+ targets per game. He gets red zone work, and has shown the ability to chunk off big plays consistently. Schrader is an excellent play this evening.

Josh Williams seems set to be the lead RB for LSU on Saturday. Make no mistake there will be a split with Noah Cain and Kaleb Jackson, but it seems like Williams will start and see bulk work. He took 11 carries last weekend with the next closest RB at 5. With Logan Diggs doubtful and John Emery out for the year, Williams could see his largest workload this season in a game where the Tigers are expected to win handily. At 4.1k on DK, he is an excellent play in any lineup this evening. If you want to live on the GPP side, the aforementioned Kaleb Jackson and Noah Cain are both set to see increased work as well. They’re both risky, but have some upside with LSU implied to score 52 points.

Jamal Haynes offers some value tonight as well. He is the lead running back for GT, and has 14+ carries in each of his past three. He has gone over 100 yards in each of the last two games. He is a great mid-tier value this evening.

Sticking with GT, at WR we love Eric Singleton this slate. He got peppered with 14 targets last game. He is the clear alpha in this GT offense. Singleton has a great spot tonight against a Syracuse team that has been torched by opposing passing this season. Singleton projects very well this evening and we love using him in any format.

Xavier Legette is the top PT/$ play here as he’s still very underpriced. As mentioned in the main slate writeup, that’s 13 targets in each of the past two games. Legette is a great option this slate.

Dan Villari is a “TE” for Syracuse but he’s been toting the rock lately. 17 carries last weekend for 154-1. He actually won ACC RB of the week last week. It wasn’t with LeQuint Allen not involved either, as he had 26 carries for 99 yards. It’s seldom we have a chance to use 4 RBs and 2 QBs in a lineup, but tonight we just might. Villari is an excellent option tonight due to his role in this offense. He grades as a fantastic PT/$ play this evening, and can be used in any format. Many casual DFS players will have no idea that a tight end is coming off a 17-carry game.

Malik Nabers is priced high tonight, but we still believe he is an option in any format. We have a ton of value tonight so Nabers — who projects as the top WR — can still be used. Nabers has 106 targets in 10 games, and 1,283 receiving yards. He’s a stud, full stop.

In GPPs we like Luther Burden. He projects well this evening, but could come with leverage. He is reported to be back at full speed. As stated in the main slate breakdown, He was a little banged up last weekend, but still gave us a decent game — going 4-26-1 on just five targets. He seems poised to jump back into his 8+ target role here. Burden has excellent upside in GPPs and this game is really stackable.

Conclusion: Jayden Daniels, Spencer Rattler, and Brady Cook are our favorite QBs here. Daniels is projected at the top spot by a wide margin, while both Rattler and Cook offer excellent PT/$ value. At RB our list consists of Cody Shrader, CJ Baxter, Josh Williams and Jamal Haynes. Schrader is projected to be the top spot, while Baxter is underpriced as he steps into a workhorse role. Williams and Haynes are great value plays, offering elite PT/$. At WR it’s Xavier Legette, Malik Nabers, Dan Villari, and Eric Singleton. Nabers and Legette are projected as the top WR on this slate. Legette is an elite play due to his price being too low. Villari is essentially an extra RB but listed as a WR in the player pool, while Singleton is an alpha WR priced as 4.8k.
