Maye tossed 2+ TD in 10 regular season games last season, with 7 games of 3 or more. He tossed 35 TDs in the regular season last year in total, and had a handful of end zone drops from his receivers. While he does have an arguably tougher schedule this year, Maye also has a plethora of new weapons. He also has a new offensive coordinator, Chip Lindsey. Lindsey coached Troy from ‘19-‘21, and the Trojans tossed the rock for TDs 40-42-35 times per game in those seasons. In 2019, Lindsey’s Trojans had a top-10 passing attack, and tossed 30 TD. Maye and his UNC offense are of much higher quality, and we love Maye to toss 2.2 TD per game this season, which is all it takes to hit this bet.
