Mike Soroka is on the mound for Atlanta, and the Braves have been cautious with him. He hasn’t topped five innings or 73 pitches in his Triple-A starts. Regardless, this is mostly a bullpen game for Atlanta, and we’re confident in their pitching staff. On the other side, the Braves offense gets an awesome matchup on this slate against RHP Miles Mikolas. Mikolas relies on the sinker, throwing it over 25% of the time to both lefties and righties. The ATL offense demolishes the sinker, and their lefties should really capitalize on Mikolas, who has allowed over a .230 xISO to left-handed hitters across the last 30 days. The Braves offense should be able to tee off in this spot, and we’re comfortable taking them on the money line despite the steep price. We like Atlanta to -230.
