Against right-handed hitters, that number drops to just 13%, and over the last 30 days it has fallen even further to only 8%. The Tigers employ one of the most platoon-heavy lineups in baseball, and tonight should be no different, with seven right-handed hitters projected to start. That should significantly limit Peterson’s strikeout upside and keep him under this number.
