We can find the over 5.5 strikeouts at around -150 on Caesars and Fanatics, while other books are hanging a much more aggressive line of 6.5, with FanDuel offering as much as +144. Detmers has elite strikeout upside, posting a 25% strikeout rate against left-handed hitters and a 28% rate against righties. The Cardinals are projected to start seven right-handed hitters this afternoon, playing directly into Detmers’ stronger split and giving him an excellent opportunity to clear both the 5.5 and 6.5 strikeout marks.
