The Chargers and Dolphins match up in a highly anticipated AFC showdown. We’re riding the Bolts in this one, as we think they’re the superior team and are set up to succeed in this matchup. The Chargers were consistently banged up on offense last year, with Corey Linsley and Rashawn Slater combining to play 16 games, and the duo of Mike Williams and Keenan Allen missing 11 contests as well. With Kellen Moore in and Joe Lombardi out, partnered with a fully healthy offense, we’re confident that Los Angeles to light it up early. Miami also ranked 25th in DVOA against the pass in 2022, and they’ll be without new addition Jalen Ramsey. Miami will likely move the ball with success on the ground, but this Chargers’ defense gave Miami fits in the passing game last season. The Dolphins will also be without Terron Armstead, which is a massive loss to their offensive line. It was a fairly small sample size, but Tua Tagovailoa’s QBR dropped massively with Armstead off the field. We love the Bolts in this spot. They’re currently -3 at -110. We wouldn’t take them if it moves to 3.5, and are willing to take the -3 up to -125.
