Zach Wilson finally had a nice performance against a tough Chiefs defense last week and now draws the softest defense in all of football. This Denver defense quite literally can’t stop anyone as they are getting smashed through the air and on the ground, and this Jets offense is finally moving in a positive direction. On the other side, this Jets defense is one of the better units in football as we saw them really limit Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs last week. They now draw a Denver offense that is struggling, so we side with the Jets on both sides of the ball. We actually have the Jets ranked in the top half of the league in a lot of the key areas we look at for team strength. If they are getting competent QB play, then we have them as a fringe top-10 team. Meanwhile the Broncos rank near the bottom in almost everything. This bet rides on Zach Wilson’s shoulders, which is uncomfortable, but we think it’s the right bet as he looked to finally be settling into this offense last week and we believe he’ll have a good showing in this much easier matchup.
