Belgium did not have much success against Egypt in a low block in MD1, and they’re going to face more of the same today, against another team that is very good at it. Iran did fine in their match against New Zealand, taking more of the ball, but it’s not where they are most comfortable. Belgium will be without their best 1-on-1 player, who can help them get some width to break down Iran, in Jeremy Doku, who is out with an illness for this one. They are going to struggle to create enough space against Iran in this one, and we could see a similar attacking profile from them that we did in the Egypt game. With this kind of price, we like the idea of Iran squeaking out an easy win, or being able to take their share of the points into MD3, with everything to play for for both nations.
