You can find this on ESPN Bet at +105 and on Fanduel at +104. We like it down to even money.
We think this is fantastic value tonight as the Padres will send righty Michael King to the mound in a matchup with Mets’ opener Clay Holmes and then left-hander Sean Manaea getting the bulk reliever duties. For starters, we love getting the Padres at plus or even money with models giving them a 52% chance of winning. Secondly, Mike King is making his second start since returning from the injured list and makes for a tough matchup with the Mets. King has some reverse splits going, striking out LHH nearly 30% of the time and holding them to an xwOBA of .295 before going down. This should help him against some of the bigger threats in this lineup like Soto and Lindor hitting from the left side, as well as 6 LHH total in the Mets lineup. On the other side, Sean Manaea has had some issues with RHH this season, allowing them a line of .213/.338. Manny Machado (.253/.364) and Ramon Laureano (.316/.422) look to be in prime spots. Manaea also struggles when facing a lineup multiple times, with his BA against climbing steadily with each turn through.
