This is -110 on Caesars. We like it to +3.5. We love Syracuse in this spot against SMU due to the Mustangs looking horrendous without BJ Edward’s. It’s been two weeks since they had him, and in that span they are 0-3 and rated as the worst team in the ACC via BartTorvik. Edward’s is a great offensive player, but more importantly is their best on ball defender. To no surprise, the last 3 games were their worst defensive rated stretch all season. Edward’s would be the assignment for Donnie Freeman, but now the Syracuse stud is freed up quite a bit. SMU also has relied on their great 3 pt shooting, but it has been much worse on the road and without Edwards. Remember neutral sites often affect 3 pt heavy teams.
