There is a TON of variance in this game and nobody really can say what to expect. Both North Texas and South Alabama rank outside the top 100 in returning production nationally. Both teams lost their starting QB, RB, and stud WRs this offseason. On top of that South Alabama lost their HC and three defensive starters on that side of the ball this spring when he left town. Their new QB, Gio Lopez, was abysmal in their spring game. And by abysmal, we mean ABYSMAL. He somehow went 0-13 in his playing time throwing the football. With all this variance at play, we absolutely lean towards the dog in this one. Lock in the Mean Green!
