MLB | Brewers/Reds 1H: Over 4.5 Runs

You can find this bet on Fanduel for -113 and we like it up to -140.

The premise of this bet is that we think both starting pitchers are very bad so they should be able to run the score up pretty early.  Carson Spiers has given up a lot of damage to both sides of the plate with nearly all his pitches. We love targeting the top of the lineup due to their early success against RHP. Brice Turang (.356/.532) and Christian Yelich (.208xISO) are the hitters we like most who are off to a good start. Historically, guys like Garrett Mitchell (.328xwOBA), Rhys Hoskins (.181xISO), and Jackson Churio (.165/.330) have been good vs. RHP so we like using them as well. Frelick is coming off a 4-hit day as well so we can expect him to carry the momentum here. On the other side of this game we love the Reds after they came out of their slump. They take on Chad Patrick who has had one bad and one good start. The Reds are typically great RHP hitters so guys like TJ Friedl (.372xwOBA), Matt McLain (.414/.439), Elly De La Cruz (.449/.508), Gavin Lux (.368xwOBA), Christian Encarnacion Strand (.351/.452) are some hot hitters that give us confidence in this spot. Considering Chad Patrick hasn’t fared well against RHH according to the X stats, Santiago Espinal, Spencer Steer, and Jose Trevino are guys we expect to contribute to the run total.
