There is a lot of juice on this under, but we don’t see Rodon getting many swings and misses today. He should get into trouble early, as Rodon is allowing a .223 xISO to righties and .263 xISO to lefties over the past 30 days. His strikeout rate is better against lefties, as it’s up at 26.3 % as opposed to 16.7% for righties. He’ll see seven righties today, and the two lefties are Yordan Alvarez and Kyle Tucker. Alvarez has a high strikeout rate, but Tucker barely strikes out, and both are poised to do damage against Rodon. Rodon has also gone under this number in each of his last five starts. We’re confident in this pick and would take it at 6.5 to -200.
