We think this is great value for the Yankees as Ryan Weathers matches up quite well with this Pirates lineup and Ashcraft has struggled a bit against LHH which the Yankees have plenty of. Weathers has held RHH to a line of .099/.335 over the last 30, which is the bulk of Pittsburgh’s lineup. Ashcraft has been crushed by LHH of late allowing them a line of .237/.349. The Yankees have 7 LHH in their lineup this evening, most of which have hit RHP well.
