He is not in good shape and the pitch clock has been awful for him – and now he will have to deal with a hot Sunday afternoon in Seattle. Over the last thirty days, lefties have obliterated his fastball with a .407 xISO/.350 xwOBA off of it. Crawford (.405 xwOBA), Ford (.244 xISO), Trammell (.487/.404), Wong (.395 xwOBA), and Raleigh (who plasters the Jays over and over and over again dating back to last year) are all prone to go bonkers here.
On the other side, Bryan Woo is on the mound for Seattle and he has been very elite against righties this season.
